WW2 - Europe 39-43. Chronology

WW2 Project - New Organisation

Already a long time I don'y do any work around here. Beside the always present reason of the job - this is Hobby - I've been re-organising my files and the way i was developing my project about World War II.

For sure wargames are the final purpose. But I made a mistake: organising History according wargames. I'm not an historian, so I allow these mistakes to myself.

Therefore, I started a different way to split World War II, this time according the Osprey Publishing Essential Histories.

We will have five different periods and/or theatres of operations (I didn't use the volume concerning the war at sea because is out of my scope):

The Mediterranean 1940-45
The Pacific
The Eastern Front 1941-45
Northwest Europe 1944-45
Europe 1939-43

Each one of these chapters, if I may call it, will start with a chronology - at this moment they will be only a copy from the books published by Osprey - of course they will be mentioned as references - but in the future I will update the chronologies as I go along with other references.

I'm going to organise the files also and I apologize the repetition, but this a hobby, isn't it?

To avoid confusion the tag for this new organisation will be WW2, like this:

WW2 - The Mediterranean 40-45
WW2 - The Pacific
WW2 - The Eastern Front 41-45
WW2 - Northwest Europe 44-45
WW2 - Europe 39-43
